I heard they got a million vaccines in so I went on the Internet to get the munchkins an appt. This is what i read on the site:

Unfortunately, at this time we have no doses of either kind of H1N1 vaccine available. We realize that the slow and totally unpredictable arrival of very small shipments of vaccine to our office has caused a great deal of frustration and concern for many of our families. We feel very badly about this. Please understand that we are doing everything we can to make the best of a very difficult situation over which we have no control. At this point, we do not know when we will receive more vaccine.
We do have a large amount of the live, nasal seasonal flu vaccine, and of the injectable form of the seasonal flu vaccine for children 6 to 36 months of age. We do not have any injectable flu vaccine for children 3 and over. Our flu phone line ********** will continue to be available for families who wish to make an appointment for one of these 2 forms of the seasonal flu vaccine. Please do not call to inquire about H1N1 vaccine.
So yea, Im angry.
I guess I can take some solice in knowing that at least the rapist, child molesters, murderers, terrorists, are all set with their vaccines.
As much as I love this country, there are times that I scratch my head and think "what were they thinking".
Don't get me wrong, sure we should vaccinate the prisoners. But NOT when it puts children at risk.
I cant help but think, which rapists received my child's H1N1 vaccine?
Which makes even more angry, is that the most receptacle to the H1N1 s children! I can't even get the vaccine due to my age. But the prisoners who are my age can get them.
I guess the way they are thinking is that why save one child, who needs to shots, when we can save two terroists because they only need one shot.
Ok, im ranting, but someone please explain to me why childrens lives are less then prisoners, or even my life?
If it was all about 'close quarters', why not give the kids who are living in a residential group home because they dont have their own home. they are all living in close quarters and they have a higher risk of death of getting the H1N1.
I don't know, I'm just getting so fed up with what is going on with this country sometimes. How these 'policy makers' sleep at night is beyond me.

None of it makes any sense. What's really sad is that they are making it such a big deal. Acting as if it's life or death. At some point, if the supply doesn't increase to meet the demand there is going to be violence at these locations offering the vaccine. I don't want to see it happen, but I'm afraid it will.

They sleep very well on the beds andin the houses that the lobist bought them. Ps. Lisa kid got fini andhe is 2 yes old and fine, so stop worrying :)

What I don't understand is the government saw this coming. Wasn't the media talking about this last spring?
It doesn't help much to get the vaccine well into flu season!
In my area (PA) the schools are in some sort of lottery line up. My school district is still waiting their turn...
Don't get the kids vaccinated!
